My Story
Welcome to my Scentsy page. I am Juleigh Ayer, and I have been a Scentsy Consultant since July 2009. I have been married for 16 years to my husband Todd, who is also my biggest supporter of my business. We have one child, William, whom we adopted at age 11 from state foster care. We have been a family for a little over 3 years now. My story begins in the Summer of 2009 when I was caring for a friend's house while she was on vacation. I walked into her home and was amazed at how wonderful it smelled. It was so amazing I asked her what it was that smelled so wonderful. Not only did she tell me about Scentsy, but she bought me a warmer and three bars of wax as a gift for looking after her home. I was so excited to try it out and soon I was enjoying these amazing smell too. While looking over the catalog for more scents, I came across how to join Scentsy. I talked to my husband about it and became a consultant. At the time, this was just a hobby to help me get out and meet people. My full-time job was being the office manager for a car business, which was something I had done for 18 years. In 2013, we adopted our son, and then later, my mother suffered a brain injury. She was going to require 24-hour care and with our newly adopted son, it just made sense to leave my job to take care of my mother, and to bond with our son. Being a Scentsy Consultant just seemed to fit in with the new demands of life. Currently, i am taking care of my mother, and I am homeschooling our son. He is beginning the ninth grade and we are hoping to continue to teach him all through high school. I also volunteer with a co-op group for homeschoolers in addition to my other duties. i enjoy being a stay-at-home mom, teacher to our son, a volunteer and a Scentsy Consultant!
